			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This summer, kids ages 10 and up can be a part of a production of â€œThe Wawel Dragonâ€ at Source Theatre in Washington DC.</p>
<p>Ambassador Theater&#8217;s International Theater Production Camp runs from July 26, 2010 until August 6, 2010, Monday-Friday from 9AM &#8211; 3PM and will end with a special show for parents, friends and siblings.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The Wawel Dragon: a Play based on a famous Legend from Poland</p>
<p>The children will be able to experience all aspects of building a theater production, work on their postures, movement, voice, memorization and concentration skills. Discover the beauty of Polish culture and be part of the final show of The Dragon of Wawel.</p>
<p>The Fees are: 2 weeks: $600 (early sign up by June 15: $500)</p>
<p>Scholarship possibility for those who get accepted. The theater will provide healthy snacks, but parents are responsible for bringing lunch or we will be able to order lunch at nearby Subway.</p>
<p>Source Theatre is located at 1835 14th Street NW and is just several blocks from the U Street/Cardozo/African American Civil War Memorial Station (13th Street exit) on Metro&#8217;s Green Line.</p>

<p>The story is based on famous Bulgarian folk tales, jokes and songs, written by renowned Bulgarian director, Lilia Slavova, with music arranged by Bulgarian musician and composer, Petko Kolev, and puppets and set designed by Bulgarian puppeteer, Julia Tasheva.</p>

<p>We are looking forward to working with talented artists to create an international theater to draw closer the international community.</p>
<p>Our first project, &#8220;<strong>Helena, The Emigre Queen</strong>&#8221; by K. Braun, is scheduled to be produced inÂ  2009 as a staged reading, we are looking for:</p>
<ul>
<li>An elder woman for the role of Helena Modjeska</li>
<li>A woman in her 30-40s for the role of Young Helena</li>
<li>A man in his 40s for several male characters</li>
</ul>
<p>Equity Actors with a special allowance may also apply.</p>
